We help forest services, governments, communities and businesses drive the regenerative management of their landscapes.
Discover our servicesWe combine strategy, project design, operations management and optimisation, and capacity building, integrating local communities, biodiversity, economy and territory. We drive landscapes that sustain the life they hold.
We weave the capacity of landscapes to keep sustaining life, today and for generations to come.
We integrate the different uses of the territory and their value chains to build more resilient, diverse and living landscapes.
Every decision connects people, biodiversity, economy and territory. We work from this interdependence.
years dedicated to forest landscapes that sustain life: people, biodiversity, economy and territory in synergy.
Projects developed, ranging from on-the-ground forestry engineering to strategic planning, governance and landscape restoration.
in forestry investment across projects, works, management plans and strategies we have helped shape, sustaining landscapes, communities and local economies.
Continents where we have learnt from nature-based solutions projects, across highly diverse ecological, social and economic contexts.
We help turn a future vision for the landscape into solid strategies, viable projects and organisations capable of making them happen.
The great forestry challenges are rarely purely technical. A landscape's resilience depends on how the ecological, social, economic and institutional decisions that shape it are integrated.
We help forest services, governments, communities and businesses design policies, strategies and plans capable of steering that complexity towards regenerative, long-term viable management.
A good strategy does not just define a destination; it creates the conditions for people to make it happen.
Strategies only generate value when they succeed in materialising on the ground.
We contribute to the design and delivery of forestry and restoration projects that connect strategic vision, technical rigour and implementation capacity, taking care of both the quality of the project and the conditions that will allow it to endure.
A project does not end when it is drafted. It begins when someone has to make it possible.
Landscapes take shape through the people who manage them.
That is why we work alongside teams and institutions to strengthen the way they plan, collaborate and make decisions, improving processes, capabilities and ways of working that allow projects to endure over time.
The best tools only deliver results when people find a way of working that makes sense for them and for the territory.
We do not see these services as separate actions.
We work by connecting these scales so that every decision contributes to landscapes that are more regenerative, resilient and capable of sustaining life.
Strategy guides projects. Projects generate learning. Operations strengthen organisations' capabilities. That learning, in turn, enriches strategy.
For more than two decades we have worked in the field, designed projects, managed operations, developed strategies and taken part in governance processes. That evolution now allows us to connect different scales of decision-making and understand landscapes from an integrative perspective, in which engineering, ecology, economics and local communities are all part of the same system.

Technical direction of forestry operations worth more than €16 million, overseeing every intervention on the ground.
Restoration, forest improvement, wildfire prevention, timber harvesting and forestry infrastructure.
Strategic plans directing more than €67 million of investment towards more resilient forest landscapes.
More than 30,000 hectares of FSC-certified forest management, a guarantee that production, conservation and social care can coexist.
Advisory support to governments and institutions on forestry strategy, planning and policy.
Design and facilitation of participatory processes in planning, management, research and conflict resolution.
Development of public policy aimed at improving forestry financing and strategic public procurement.
Building spaces for collaboration between administrations, local communities and other stakeholders in the territory.
For 26 years I have walked forest landscapes: first as a technician in the field, then managing operations and projects, and today also accompanying the strategy and governance of those who manage them. I co-founded Agresta in 2000 and Genea in 2003. In 2013 I launched Mirlo Positive Nature, exploring how new tools can serve the regeneration of landscapes. Always alongside great fellow travellers.
This evolution has not changed my underlying vocation: to reveal how landscapes, forest landscapes in particular, sustain life, and to help ensure they can keep sustaining it in the future.
Today I run Genea directly and closely. Depending on what each project needs, I work alongside a trusted network of professionals (engineering, restoration, governance, communication) to give every assignment the scale and perspectives it deserves.
